Thomas Dengler, a lecturer of economic subjects of Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University, Germany had a meeting with Tatiana Polutina, Vice-rector for International and Youth Policy, representatives of Department of International and External Relations, Konstantin Tiupakov, Economics Faculty Dean and lecturers of the Faculty.
Mr. Dengler’s visit purpose was discussing further cooperation within the framework of development of joint master program called Agrarian Management. Within this master program students can get two diplomas when graduated.
The guest had an excursion to the Botanic Garden, Sports complex, and the University Museum. Besides meeting with the Heads, Mr. Dengler gave a lecture for Economics Faculty students and made a presentation of Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University. After the presentation finished the students interested in studying at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University asked the guest some questions.
The next step of the visit program was an excursion to the Economics Faculty where Mr. Tiupakov told Mr. Dengler about its history and discussed curriculum related issues within the joint master program.
Kuban SAU has a long history of cooperation with Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University. Both Universities now plan to continue mutually beneficial cooperation.
