This academic year, the KubSAU family has joined by 4,747 best students from all over the Krasnodar region and the Republic of Adygea, from 65 regions of Russia, and from 41 countries of the world. KubSAU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Alexey Petukh congratulated the first-year students: “Dear students! I congratulate you on the Day of Knowledge and the start of the new academic year! Today you are devoted to students of one of the best universities in the country!” The freshmen students were presented with symbols of studentship: the key of knowledge, a student card, and a grade book. The goddess of fertility and agriculture “Demeter” majestically walked through the hall and handed over the “torch with the fire of Prometheus” to a first-year student. Traditionally, the freshmen took the student oath and performed the anthem "Gaudeamus". The laser show and the film about the university were a delight and admiration. The creative teams of the Faculty of Social Professions prepared a festive and bright concert. Songs of the vocal ensemble "My Vmeste", "Impromt", as well as the international vocal ensemble were performed. The guests saw a modern dance, a circus number, the folk dance ensemble "Kuban", the Caucasian dance ensemble "Zikhi". The concert have left no one indifferent. At the end of the concert program, the students' anthem of KubSAU was performed. Congratulations to the first-year students on admission to the Kuban State Agrarian University! Bon voyage, friends!
