On January 26, the Uzbek Consul General in Rostov-on-Don Burkhan Alikulov visited Krasnodar. Khuzhabakhlil Asamov, First Secretary and Consul of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don, and Muhammad Safarov, Attaché for Labour Migration of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don, were also part of the delegation.

The purpose of the visit was a meeting with students-compatriots who study at higher-educational institutions of the city. In the course of the meeting there was a question and answer session. Students were interested in receiving financial and medical assistance, issuing passports, recognition of qualifications obtained in the Russian Federation, etc.

Kuban State Agrarian University is actively developing collaboration with Uzbekistan. Today 50 students from this country study at our university. We also work with partner universities. For example, five best groups of Fergana State University undergraduates entered KubSAU faculties of agronomy and ecology, agrochemistry and plant protection, horticulture and viticulture this year.
