Russia is a multiethnic country and keeping good relations with the nations and nationalities living in such a large area has always been really important for it is impossible to imagine a modern society without mutual respect and support.
To show the peoples' desire for unity and friendship KubSAU gathered guests at the "Europe Day" festival.
Guests were treated to "welcome" tea, a round table "Europe Today", a photo exhibition "We are so different ..." Music of every nationality was played in the foyer. Every faculty laid the table of native dishes. Bulgaria, Greece, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, Spain - and this is not the entire list of countries. Austria cooked traditional sausages and Norway - as many as six delicious dishes.
But that's not all. During the festival of national cultures of Europe "Wreath of Friendship" vibrant concert performances were presented by student groups. Guests could listen to poetry in German and Russian, to Polish and Finnish songs, watch Hungarian and Italian dances and many more interesting things. This celebration left nobody indifferent. KubSAU Rector professor A.I. Trubilin shared his impressions: "I ??have a feeling that I drove the whole of Europe in an hour". For speakers it was a real compliment as well as the words of praise said by I. P. Kolesnikova, the chief ideologist of the event, vice-rector for educational work, "I do not remember the last time I received such emotions. Thank you, guys!"
At the end of the event the best student performances were rewarded. Head of the educational projects of "Volnoe Delo" V.V. Pechkovskaya awarded Alina Abdrakhmanova, a student of Finance and Credit Faculty, certificate giving the opportunity to visit Europe.
