October 7, the awards ceremony was held in a virtual format. Sylvia Looks and Frank Klüsener, members of the Executive Board of the CLAAS Foundation and organizers of the international competition of student research in the fields of agriculture and agricultural engineering, welcomed the contestants from different countries and congratulated them on their worthy results.
Dmitrii Dmitriev, student of the Faculty of Mechanization of Kuban SAU, was among the successful participants.
The student won the International Student Prize and received a grant of 2,000 euros. His knowledge, tenacity and support from the faculty helped to present a high-quality research project on wide-grip seeders for sowing grain crops to the jury.
We congratulate Dmitrii and the staff of the Faculty of Mechanization on his victory, and we wish him productive research work!

For more than 20 years, the Helmut Claas-Scholarships and International Student Prizes have been awarded to young talents from various international universities. This year, students from England, the Netherlands, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Poland and Uzbekistan also received awards. The total amount of funds allocated by the Foundation to support higher schools was over 35 thousand euros.
