Eleonora Kutynina, head of the Department of International and External Relations, delivered a welcoming speech to the participants of the event: “Our university systematically implement a policy aimed at providing quality education and comfortable learning environment for talented young people both from Russia and abroad. Today, representatives of 54 countries study at the university. I have no doubt that this meeting will be a turning point for some students when they decide to get higher education in Russia and specifically in Kuban State Agrarian University.”
Olesya Babenko, coordinator of educational programs at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Serbia, noted the great interest of high school students in attending Russian universities. Additionally, she emphasized the importance of developing and strengthening the Russian-Serbian educational dialogue.
In the course of the meeting Larisa Algasheva, deputy head of the Department for International and External Relations, spoke about the university, its history, its competitive advantages, conditions for admission and study, and student life. Lecturer Anastasia Shapovalova made a presentation about the Preparatory department for foreign citizens.
A pleasant surprise for schoolchildren was a video greeting from a student from the Republic of Serbia, a second-year student of the Faculty of Mechanization, Ognjen Vujicic: “I am glad that I am a full-time student at Kuban State Agrarian University. Real professionals work at our university, there is a strong training here! I love studying here and living in such a beautiful city. Krasnodar is very similar in climate to my hometown of Belgrade.”
At the end of the meeting, university representatives expressed the hope that they would soon see the participants from the videoconference, as future students at Kuban!
