At the Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens (Podfac) was held new year's party organized by the faculty, staff and students of Podfac. Santa Claus (Stavros from Cyprus) and Snegurochka (Leila from Morocco) in beautiful costumes skillfully, cheerfully and humorously on good Russian organized that event.

The holiday was fun and interesting and for the participants and for guests. A student from Chad greeted Santa Claus by the poem about the tree. At the festival was a lot of dancing: students from Israel, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine played an Arab folk dance, students from Mozambique, Cote D'ivoire, Congo, South Africa has demonstrated a contemporary African dance. Songs heard in the performance of students from Uzbekistan and Guyana, Greece and Morocco. All was pleasantly surprised by its performance on darbuka-Arabic drum- student from Lebanon. Of course, New Year's eve could not pass without poetry, so Santa Claus read poems about Christmas and New Year in Greek, and his compatriot translated them into Russian language. A student from Mongolia recited the poem A. S. Pushkin “I loved You…" on the beautiful Russian language. By the students and teachers were dinners with fruits, chocolates, cakes, lemonade and juices. All participants of the holiday Santa Claus gave small gifts, which was a pleasant surprise. The festival was a success!
