The XXVI Russian Agro-Industrial Exhibition "Golden Autumn-2024" has opened in Moscow, with the delegation of the Kuban State Agrarian University taking an active part in it. The event is taking place in the Timiryazev Center, the newest space for educational and exhibition events based at the Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev.
The delegation of the Kuban State Agrarian University includes Rector Alexander Trubilin, Vice-Rector for Research Andrey Koshchaev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Alexey Petukh, as well as young scientists of the university.
As part of the forum, its participants got acquainted with modern agricultural machinery from leading domestic manufacturers, and also showed the guests the best breeds of animals, conducted a tasting of regional products and master classes.
During the business program, the participants discussed support for small agribusiness, the development of agricultural education, expansion of the geography of exports, and other topics relevant to the industry.
The central event of the 26th Russian agro-industrial exhibition "Golden Autumn - 2024" was the plenary session "Russian Agro-Industrial Industry - 2030: Ways to Achieve Technological Leadership". It was attended by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut, heads of regions, representatives of federal authorities, science, education and business. Opening the meeting, Mikhail Mishustin noted that the exhibition "Golden Autumn" has become a platform for exchanging experiences, discussing current issues of industry development. According to the Prime Minister, the proposals voiced at the forum largely help to build a system of state support for agriculture and contribute to the implementation of the tasks set for the industry by the President of Russia. - First of all, by 2030, the volume of production of the Russian agro-industrial complex should grow by at least a quarter compared to 2021, and exports should increase by one and a half times.
