National Unity Day was celebrated in Krasnodar on November 4. Main events arranged for the celebration took place at the city center at Pushkin Square. Participants of the regional event enjoyed a parade called “Along the mail street with orchestra!” of professional and amateur wind orchestra. The parade was a grand opening of Fraternity of Peoples Festival. Thematic exhibitions, workshops, presentations of national costumes and dishes of Russian cuisine were held during the celebration. There were 10 zones of youth activity so called “points of attraction” opened at the Square.
The whole point of the celebration was a grand flashmob. Ladies and guys dressed in national costumes of different folks of Kuban performed a lively dance.
About 600 KubSAU students joined young people of the region for taking part in the flashmob and getting many positive emotions.
Vivid experience, great photos and concert with popular Russian bands Propoganda and IOWA became rewards for the participants’ hard preparing for the event. National Unity Day celebration end was marked with colourful firework.
