The educational and experimental farm unit “Kuban” was created in 1961 and is a structural subdivision of Kuban State Agrarian University. Operating as part of a single educational, scientific and production complex, the Kuban agricultural farm unit serves as a base for training students, graduate students, retraining and advanced training of specialists, carrying out of research work, testing scientific developments, as well as producing and selling elite varieties of seeds, breeding stock, progressive technologies.

The educational and experimental farm unit “Kuban” is a diversified agricultural enterprise. The main industry is crop production. The farm annually produces up to 20 thousand tons of grain, including 2500 tons of pedigree seeds, for the production of which there is the necessary base for cleaning and sorting seeds and bringing them to basic conditions.
